Privacy Policy

Effective October 30, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Chap Clark ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit chapclark.com (the "Site").

Information we collect

We collect information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the contents of any message or request you submit through a form or email. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider automatically receives basic technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit.

How we use information

We use information to respond to your inquiries, provide the services or resources you request, communicate with you, operate and secure the Site, and comply with legal obligations. If you sign up for emails, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Cookies and third-party services

The Site does not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. The Site is hosted by Vercel and serves its fonts from our own servers, so loading the Site does not send your IP address to Google Fonts. Form submissions may be delivered to us through an email service provider. These providers process information only to provide their services to us.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Site and respond to you, when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Data retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), may give you rights over your personal information. In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (such as name, email address, and phone number), information you include in messages, and internet activity information (such as IP address and browser data). We collect it from you and your browser and use it for the purposes described above.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to request a copy; to request correction or deletion; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To make a request, contact us at info@chapclark.com, or by mail at 1001 Avenida Pico #C237, San Clemente, CA 92672. We will verify your request using information we already hold and respond within 45 days. An authorized agent may submit a request with your written permission. Under California's "Shine the Light" law, you may also ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date.
